Yahoo's jump in mobile ad market share



Yahoo is poised to make a notable jump in U.S. mobile ad revenue. Let's take a look at the technology stocks to watch Friday.
Yahoo. The tech giant will soon pass Twitter for third place in U.S. mobile ad share by 2015, according to research firm eMarketer. The company trails leader Google and social network Facebook. Yahoo's surge will represent the largest market share gain from 2014 through 2016.

Sony. It appears the hack impacting Sony Pictures exposed more information that believed. The Wall Street Journal reports hackers compromised the social security numbers of more than 47,000 current and former employees, including celebrities Sylvester Stallone and Judd Apatow.

Apple. The tech giant is seeking a dismissal of a lawsuit over iPods, claiming the complaint does not have a plaintiff. The New York Times reports Apple believes both plaintiffs cited in the case bought iPods outside the period of the class action suit.

Google. The company is updating its partner program for work and education that will combine services such as Apps, Chrome and search into one.
